Legg and Battoglia Named Wildcats of the Week

Cazenovia, N.Y. - The Cazenovia College Athletics Department have named Ashley Legg (South Onondaga, NY) of the Equestrian team, and Rich Battoglia (Rochester, NY) of the men's baseball team, as Wildcats of the Week for the week of April 18th.

Legg qualified for IHSA Nationals in Individual Walk-Trot-Canter. after qualifying for IHSA Regionals by earning 35 points in their division, she was Champion in the Individual Walk-Trot-Canter. Legg then advanced to the IHSA Zone 2 Finals where she was Reserve Champion in the Individual Walk-Trot-Canter. Legg will be competing next week in Kentucky at the IHSA Nationals.

Battoglia led the Wildcats to three wins on the baseball diamond last week. He collected six hits, seven runs batted in, and scored three runs during the stretch. While statistics back up his prowess at the plate, there are no words to describe his phenomenal play in the field. Battoglia has stepped up his game and made the Wildcats a force to be reckoned with.
