The Cazenovia College men's basketball team dropped their first conference game of the season as they fell to Keuka College 78 to 73. The Wildcats fall to 2-4 overall and 1-1 in the NEAC, while the Wolves improve to 4-2 overall and 1-0 in conference play.
The Wildcats had a strong offensive output in the second half as they were 16-35 for 45.7% while going 7-18 from behind the arc for 38.9%. Cazenovia won the battle of the turnovers as they caused Keuka to turn the ball over 15 times while only turning the ball 10 times themselves.
On offense the Wildcats were led by junior Will Cutler
as he finished with 16 points on 6-13 shooting. Junior Blake Bagozzi
would come off the bench and record his first double-double of the year for the Wildcats as he would score 10 points and pull down 10 rebounds.
Junior Jaceary Menes
scored 13 points and recorded 3 assists, while senior Nicholas Filippi
finished with 8 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists. Sophomore Lucci Vigliotti
shot 4-8 from the field, 3-7 from three for 13 points off the bench for Cazenovia.
The Wildcats return to action on Wednesday December 5th
when they travel to Morrisville State.
